How to find your FPL team ID on mobile or desktop

The quickest reliable route to the number Gameweek Agent needs, including the browser trick that stops the FPL app swallowing the link.

Product guide 3 min readUpdated 3 September 2026

The reliable browser method

Go to fantasy.premierleague.com in Safari, Chrome or another browser and sign in. If your phone keeps opening the FPL app, use a private/incognito tab or press and hold the link and choose “Open in new tab”. You can also temporarily request the desktop version of the site.

Open Points, then View Gameweek history. Look at the address bar. The URL contains /entry/ followed by a number. For example, in fantasy.premierleague.com/entry/1234567/history, the team ID is 1234567.

On a desktop or laptop

Sign in to the FPL website, open your Points page and select View Gameweek history. Copy the number after /entry/ from the browser address. You only need the number, although Gameweek Agent can also recognise the full URL.

What the ID lets Gameweek Agent see

The team ID connects to public FPL information: your latest revealed squad, past Gameweek scores, transfer history and overall rank. It does not reveal your password or give the bot permission to make changes to your FPL team.

Upcoming changes that you have not yet revealed publicly, plus current bank, free transfers and chip state, may need to be supplied in chat. A screenshot can help, and the agent should confirm those details before presenting a transfer as affordable.

How it is stored

In the private beta, the FPL team ID is saved against the approved Telegram account. That means the user does not need to paste it before every question. Access is limited to Telegram IDs approved by the beta administrator.
